Tanisha Thammavongsa is a Canadian actor of Lao, Thai, and European descent. Raised in a small town in Ontario, she began training in dance at a young age, later focusing on ballet.

In 2026, Tanisha made her leading-role debut in Lifetime’s Her Husband’s Double Life. Notable film and television credits include Celine Windt on Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent, Poppy in Sean Garrity’s feature film The Burning Season, and Brooke in Lifetime’s award—winning Swindler Seduction.

Most recently, Tanisha appeared opposite Annie Murphy, Zosia Mamet, and Finn Wittrock in the romantic comedy All That She Wants, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Beyond acting, Tanisha is a dedicated Muay Thai practitioner, bringing a strong physical discipline to her performances. She is also the founder of Mylk Money, a grassroots initiative providing infant formula to families in her father’s village in Laos.
