Tanisha Thammavongsa is a Canadian actor of Lao, Thai, and Scottish descent. She grew up in small town Ontario and began training in dance at a young age, later focusing on ballet. She went on to study Psychology at the University of Toronto.

She will make her leading role debut in “Her Husband’s Double Life”, premiering June 5, 2026 on Lifetime.

With a career spanning over fifteen years, Tanisha has built a body of work across film and television. Notable credits include Celine Windt on “Law & Order Toronto” (Episode 204), Poppy in Sean Garrity’s “The Burning Season” (2023), and Brooke in Lifetime’s award winning “Swindler Seduction”.

She will also make a brief (but funny!) appearance in the upcoming feature “All That She Wants”, opposite Annie Murphy, Zosia Mamet, and Finn Wittrock.

Beyond acting, Tanisha is a dedicated Muay Thai practitioner, training consistently and integrating physical discipline into her creative life. She is the founder of Mylk Money, a grassroots initiative focused on providing infant formula to families in her father’s village in Laos.
